ND's lead narrows but PM's election hopes still alive
In its first survey of the year for Alpha TV, Alco indicated that support for New Democracy has edged back up after dipping towards the end of 2022. According to the opinion poll, 31 pct of respondents say they intend to back the conservatives, up from 30.3 pct in the previous sounding.
Support for SYRIZA has risen by even more, moving up to 24.1 pct from 23. As a result, the gap between the two leading parties has decreased to 6.9 pct from 7.3.
