Producer prices drop for 11 months straight, down 6.6 pct in Jan
Greece’s Producer Price Index (PPI) contracted for eleven successive months in January, dropping by 7 percent year-on-year (YoY), after falling by 6.6 percent in December, ELSTAT data showed on Thursday.
The index had been growing over a two-year period since March 2021, before it turned negative in March last year. In January 2023 the index was at 148.42 points, and at 137.96 in January 2024.
