Greece and Turkey move ahead with talks on Confidence Building Measures

Delegations from Greece and Turkey discussing Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) are due to meet at the Ministry of Defence in Athens on Monday. The delegations will be led by ambassador Theocharis Lalakos and Turkey’s deputy foreign minister Burak Aksapar, respectively.

High-ranking military officials of the Armed Forces of both countries are expected to participate as well. This is the second meeting on CBMs. The first talks took place last November in Ankara.
